Hanging in there

On the eve of my due date, we're still hanging in there. We thought maybe we would go yesterday since I woke up at 4am with contractions every 5 minutes until 10am. Unfortunately, they dissipated. It would have been so cute if he was born on the 3rd since Bella is on the 3rd as well. At least he didn't come today. I was hoping that he wouldn't have his birthday on the holiday, so maybe that's why I didn't have too many contractions today!

We just enjoyed the day with Bella today, chilling at home. I actually napped quite a bit today. Tonight, she said she couldn't reach the sky. She said she wanted wings so she could fly. It was so funny. It really is amazing how conversational she is now.

Rich said to me that we're going to have two babies very soon and he can't wait to see how Bella reacts to her baby brother. I also can't wait to see that. I think she is going to be a great big sister. Even so, I told him we have to be aware of the attention she won't get now and make sure she still feels involved and important. I think she will be really good at helping with the baby! Now if he would just finally make his appearance!
