Coloring Easter Eggs

Rich and I used to color eggs every year, and in the last few years, we just haven't made the time to do it. This is the 3rd Easter we are celebrating with Bella, but only the first one that we colored eggs. I think it's good we waited though because she would have had no clue what was going on before!

She has so much fun coloring eggs this year! She didn't even make much mess, which was an extra bonus! However, she was so sad when there were no more eggs to color. She kept asking for more (we had already done a dozen) and when we said there were no more, she got that sad look, the frown, and then the tears. It was so sad! But we all had fun! I even got Rich to take a few pics with Bella and me, but he is semi-camera illiterate, so we had to switch to the point and shoot! I swear I need to give him lessons!

Bella practicing being a good big sister

I bought this doll for Bella and it's roughly the size of a newborn baby. (I also use it to measure my knitted baby stuff!) While she does drag it around by its foot and the head bangs across the floor, she has her nurturing moments too!

My maternity pics!!

I had the awesome opportunity to meet a fellow photographer from my online group. Melissa Zihlman (www.melissazihlman.com) is from TX and she was here visiting friends to take pics for them. She did a session for Bella and me. I was 27.5 weeks when we did these portraits yesterday. I am bummed that Rich couldn't come, but hopefully Beth can take a few of all three of us in the next few weeks! Published here with permission from Melissa!
